Day 13 - Climb Sentillo (5000m) and thence to Alpamayo South base camp

Another day of grey skies. From our camp site at Taullipampa in the Santa Cruz valley we did a side trip to the summit of Sentillo, an offshoot of the peak of Millisraju at altitude about 5000m. The climb started on grassy slopes and became an interesting rock scramble higher up. After this side trip we headed to Alpamayo South base camp to camp.

		This is the last part of the climb up Sentillo, where there is some interesting rock scrambling on excellent rock.
		Kendy takes the last few steps to the summit of Sentillo.
		Then we headed across the Santa Cruz valley towards Alpamayo South base camp. Here is a view of Lake Jatuncocha.
		Then we climbed up into the side valley below Alpamayo.
