Day 12 - Huatiaq to Diablo Mudo Base Camp

2 Jul 2007

Today was a short trekking day across the broad and open Tapush Punta (4750m) so there was time for an excellent afternoon walk. It was another fine day, and we reached our campsite (altitude 4600m) by lunch time. In the afternoon, Kendy, Lorin and I went for an excellent walk in which we climbed high and traversed an open scree covered range with panoramic views.

		Our donkeys cross the broad and open Tapush Punta (4750m).
		.Lorin, Kendy and I went on an afternoon walk on which we climbed high onto a rocky range for panoramic views.
		We returned to our tents via Laguna Susucocha.
