Welcome to my Europe 2010 web page!

I spent the 3 months of June to September 2010 trekking the mountains of Slovenia, northern Italy, Eastern Turkey and the Russian Caucasus. Click on an image or one of the links below for details on each trip.

Eastern Turkey - Mt Ararat

Istanbul, Dogubayazit and an ascent of Mt Ararat (5137m) in eastern Turkey.

The Russian Caucasus - Mt Elbrus

Ascent of Mt Elbrus (5642m) in southern Russia. Moscow and Pyatigorsk.
