Day 4 - 29 Dec 2007
On the fourth day we did a side trip from a base camp on top of a ridge. The side trip took us into a very deep and narrow canyon. We had already heard about this canyon, but we were not disappointed. It was very exciting, with about 3 abseils and some very dark and narrow sections.

The canyon starts with this daunting drop where you cannot even see the bottom or how far it goes. |

Peering into the canyon it is dark and mysterious. Neither of us had done this canyon before. |

After abseiling into the canyon we look back up the canyon from the bottom. |

The canyon enters a larger creek which is also canyon at this point. This photo is taken from the main creek. |
