Day 3 - 22 Jan 2007

On the third day we explored a different creek. This creek had enormous cliffs on either side and some tantalizing side gullies promising possible canyon. The 2 photos shown here are from a side gully of this creek that we tried to climb up but were unable. On the following day we entered this same gully from the top as it looked highly likely that it would contain canyon.

A side gully of the creek showed that there may be canyon upstream.

Tree ferns, coachwood and cliffs dominate the scenery of this gorge.
