Pantoneys Crown is a distinctive plateau in the upper Capertee Valley, about 3 hours drive from Sydney. From the summit, expansive views of the Capertee Valley and Wollemi National Park are seen. Below are some photos that were taken from the northern end of Pantoneys Crown on the evening of 25 October 2008.

On the weekend trip to this area on 25-26 October 2008 I had the company of Jo Boyd and Annie Côte.

Here are the photos.

Wildflowers on the summit plateau attract a host of insects in the Spring.

We are so photogenic the camera couldn't stop clicking once it started.
