Here are some photos of a 4 day trip into the Coricudgy wilderness during Easter 2009.

Party: Rachel Melrose, Kendy Burke, Ashley Burke

Kendy turns up at Rylestone Hospital. She had cut her leg crossing a log early on Good Friday.

The wound before treatment.

Kendy was still cheerful while waiting for the doctor.

The first of 13 stitches.

More stitches.

Ok so as soon as she was sown up it was back out into the bush.

Pagoda formations along the ridge we were following.

Kendy climbs up a steep slab. The rope was handy here because the rock was damp and therefore quite slippery.

On Day 2 we descended some cliffs on a spur we were following.

Mighty pagoda scenery in the vicinity of Coricudgy Creek.

Great northern Blue Mountains scenery.

We found a strange looking spider on the evening of Day 2 around the campfire.

That night the Easter bilby laid a colourful array of eggs.

Sunday was better weather and great views from the ridge we has been camping. These views are from our campsite on Sunday morning.
