On the weekend of 7-9 Jun 2014 I joined Rachel Melrose, Rob Hynes, Rik Deveridge and 3 others on a trip to the spectacular Budawangs.

| Fri 6 Jun 2014 | I drove down to Sassafras late on Friday night and met the others there. A short walk south and then camp. |
| Sat 7 Jun 2014 | Fire trail bash towards Newhaven Gap and then walk out to Folly Point for lunch and then descend into Holland Gorge. Camp in Holland Gorge. Beautiful weather. Photos below. |
| Sun 8 Jun 2014 | Walk up the pristine rainforest gorge of Holland River. Photos Below. Climb towards Tarn Bluff. Side trip to Angel Falls. Lunch on ridge above Angel Falls. Continue through scrub to Tarn Bluff. Camp high on Tarn Bluff. Another beautiful day with rain coming in from the south later that night. Photos below. |
| Mon 9 Jun 2014 | A wet and rainy day. Essentially we just walked out, following a known path. Some excellent scenery during breaks in the clouds. Lunch in a dry cave, then fire trail bash back to the cars. |
